72 Hours is an EP of three songs demonstrating a forthcoming project. The format of the finished project is unknown and the working title has been changed too many times to be working, but the final project will be very similar to 72 Hours, at least in concept. Each of the three tracks/songs on 72 Hours were conceived, written, recorded, produced, engineered, mixed, mastered, and finalized all within 24 hours. If the 24-hour mark rolled around and the song wasn't "finished," it was scrapped. Ideas or riffs were not allowed to be brought into the studio; they had to be conceived after work had gotten "started." These stipulations forced a certain unique spontaneity in the music that could not have been premeditated, certainly not within the time constrictions.
